A MUST To Watch
WHUT (Howard University's PBS station) is airing an excellent program on transitioning students with autism into an adult mainstream lifestyle 'Autism: Coming of Age'. They investigate the huge lack of supports available once public school entitlements end and amazing success stories of those that have maximized the few available supports. It's scheduled to re-air Wednesday 10-19-11 at 8:00 on Comcast channel 32 in Montgomery County.
Also check out their program schedule for documentaries on 'Decoding Autism' & 'Brain Injury Dialogues'. Sure to be enlightening!
